The NCSU Libraries is providing trial access to S-PAC (Searchable Proceedings of Animal Science Conferences), a database of animal production and management conference proceedings. Topics range from nutrition and management, to herd health, animal care and bioethics. To date, 42 participating conferences have contributed 401 sets of proceedings and presentations to this unique and growing searchable collection designed to be of interest to animal scientists, nutritionists, veterinarians, academicians, consultants, students and members of industry around the world. Consider how S-PAC could be useful in the classroom, providing students with convenient access to “real world” applications of current science.
Go to http://spac.adsa.org/index.asp to access S-PAC using IP authentication (no username or password are required) on the NCSU network. If you have any feedback you’d like to pass on to us, please send it to: dcurrie@ncsu.edu. The trial access is available through April 9, 2012.
